Satan Hates You

Image: Pixabay.com

Yes, Satan hates you. He hates me, he hates you, he hates everyone. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly," says Jesus in John 10:10 (KJV).

Satan can war against you. But, honestly, the main way he gets people is the safest road to hell. “Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one--the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts,...Your affectionate uncle, Screwtape,” C.S. Lewis wrote in the Screwtape Letters.

Satan's biggest weapon is Deception.

Eve was deceived in the garden of Eden by Satan. (1 Timothy 2:4). Adam sinned and knew exactly what he was doing. But, notice how the first sin by man was due to deception. Satan told Eve she would become like God. It's in Genesis 3:1-7. He told her she would be like God and know good and evil. He further told her she wouldn't die if she ate the apple. Both were deception. If Eve ate the apple, she would be sinning. God can't sin so that was a lie. Satan's second deception was, if won't kill you. Yes, it did. Eve was perfect until she ate of the apple and never would've known pain, misery or death. So, yes, eating of the apple did kill her, just not right then. But, it did take her perfection away immediately. After Adam ate the apple, both Eve and he discovered they were naked and clothed themselves with leaves. Until they sinned, both hung around Eden butt naked without a care in the world, and no shame. In fact, once God came to them, He asked, "who told you that you were naked?" (Gen 3:11)

In Matthew 24:4-31, Jesus talked about the last days and used the word "deceive" several times. Deception is Satan's greatest weapon. Satan whispers in our ears, "do that. It won't hurt." If we listen, soon we are into all kinds of sin.

You ever heard someone say, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

But, Satan's deception is two-fold. Not only does he lie to you about something like he did Eve, he tells you the punishment for doing won't be anything really, therefore, massaging your pride. Satan's sin was pride and the Bible says, "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Revelation 16:18) (KJV) So, not only does Satan tell you do something with deceiving lips, he deceives you into telling you the cost of the sin won't be a big deal. "So, you cheat on your wife? Plenty of people do it. Keep it a secret and no one will ever know." Hmm... but, who exactly does know? Well, you do.

Basically, Satan lies to us with the temptation and the price will we have to pay, because we are ignorant. Ignorance is where he works. Read your Bible, study it and meditate on it. Ever notice how the ignorant are so easily deceived? The same is true for Christians. The more you know the Bible, the less ignorant you become, and the less likely to be deceived.

If Deception is Satan's greatest weapon, Ignorance is our greatest weakness.

A man killed someone and got away with it. Years later, he went to the cops and confessed. The cop said, "why confess? You got away with it." The main replied, "it was the getting away with it part I couldn't live with." The problem is you have to live with it. The murderer couldn't. It ate him up inside knowing what he did. Satan doesn't care. He doesn't have to live with your sin—You do!

Satan and his ilk hate your guts. Why? He's the opposite of Jesus. Jesus is love. Satan is hate. Jesus is goodness. Satan is evil incarnate. Jesus is gentle and meek in spirit. Satan is cruel and a taskmaster. His yoke is brutal. But, Jesus said, "my yoke is easy." (Matthew 11:28-30) What is a yoke? A yoke is what they used to put on oxen so they could plow the fields. Jesus wants not to add to your burdens. Satan will add all kinds of things to your burdens–sin being one of them. But, Jesus takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) Jesus removes your burdens and takes them onto Himself.

"Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." (James 1:13-18) (KJV)

God will never tempt you. Satan does the tempting, just as he did Jesus in the wilderness. Satan tempts your lust. And, you give in to temptation, not anyone else. You are responsible. Satan offers you only sin and death. Jesus, on the other hand, says, "And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession." (James 1:18 NLT) The Holy Spirit inside you will help you resist temptation! "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19) (KJV)

Do you have the Holy Spirit? See: https://eternalcrosscrt.blogspot.com/2020/10/the-baptism-of-holy-spirit.html

YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM! Being a Christian without the Holy Spirit is being a soldier without fatigues, weapons and a helmet!

You are God's prized possession and Satan HATES YOU! Honestly, has Satan ever done anything for you? Really? Nope, not one thing! Jesus, on the other hand, has paved the way for us with complete and utter victory over everything, especially Satan and his ilk. When Jesus died on the Cross, he took away the sin of the world. We only have to repent and ask Jesus into our heart to be born again.

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)

There is no greater love than Jesus.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) (KJV)

Accept Him today if you don't know him.

Sinner's Prayer

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior."

Now, go and tell someone and welcome to His Kingdom.

Amen and Hallelujah.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Source: Pixabay

When a person gets saved, the Holy Spirit quickens the mortal body, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." (Romans 8:11) (KJV)

The Holy Spirit is the one that gives salvation experiences and seals you. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," (Ephesians 1:13) (KJV)

The Holy Spirit is in you when you get saved, but you have to accept Him.

The Holy Spirit is a Gift!

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as a Comforter and He is Forever!

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." (John 14:16) (KJV)

The same Spirit Jesus was baptized with by John the Revelator, Jesus sent to ALL of us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead can dwell in you!

A prayer: "Jesus, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I welcome Him inside me to live with me forever and ever. I give you praise, honor and glory. Amen."

That's it!

Trust me, the Holy Spirit (next to Jesus, is my favorite words) will manifest himself to you. He's kind, sweet, long suffering, patient, loving, all the things Jesus and God the father is because He's an equal part of God.

How do you know the Holy Spirit is in you? Well, I fell Him tingle my legs, cause my bones to vibrate in my legs (I love that one a lot), He can raise the hairs on your skin. Sometimes I feel like He is a Helmet on my head. He's totally cool and never means you any harm. That's why the Dove is how He came down to Jesus when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. He's the comforter Jesus sent. One of the coolest things He did was Anoint my eyelids. They tingled. Everyone is different so you might also feel heat like I do, and sometimes even cool heat (that one is neat). He can flash light in your eyes, He can give you dreams, and He can impart gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. Chapter 12 details the 9 Gifts of the Spirit of Jesus). We will cover those in another sermon.

And, honestly, He is Jesus's Spirit. I call Him that and He's not objected. I see it this way: Basically, Jesus went back to Heaven so he could send us His Spirit. You see, Jesus had the Holy Spirit all to Himself when He was on earth. But, when He went back to heaven, that released the Holy Spirit to come and live inside us. When you take your first breath out of the womb, who exactly do you think gives you that breath? That's the Holy Spirit. He's always been there, but, until you get saved, you just don't know it. (Romans 8:11)

And, He is Power! See: https://eternalcrosscrt.blogspot.com/2020/08/the-power-inside-you.html

The Holy Spirit will lead you into ALL truths!

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." (John 16:13) (KJV)

What does He talk about? Jesus is pretty much it. The Holy Spirit loves to talk about Jesus because Jesus is the Authority over everything, including sin, sickness, infirmity, the devil, the animals, the sea, the rain, and even death itself. When Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead by the Holy Spirit, the keys to death and hell became His domain.

Revelation 1:18: Jesus says, “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Hades is hell.

If Satan tempts you, give him the Word of Truth (Scripture) in response as Jesus did in the wilderness. (Matthew 4:1-11)

IMPORTANT:

If you don't know the Scripture to give, just say, "But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." (Matt 16:23) (KJV)

The Holy Spirit will bring Scripture to your mind. I don't know all these Scriptures so I let the Holy Spirit bring them to my mind. Trust me, I ain't writing this sermon, the Holy Spirit is. The Glory belongs to Jesus.

The biggest thud of Scripture from the Holy Spirit I ever got was when I asked God if He could fix my car's air conditioner. The Holy Spirit quickly thundered it into my mind, "Nothing is impossible with God." (Luke 1:37) (Paraphrase) And, guess what? It has worked flawlessly ever since. My car is 19 years old and He knew I couldn't afford $500-1000 to fix it. So, He fixed it.

The Holy Spirit greatest fruit inside a believer is Love. He will lead you to love everybody. Why? God is Love. Jesus is Love. The Holy Spirit is Love. (1 John 4:7-21)

What does He look like?

One teen girl on Youtube said she saw the Holy Spirit and He looked like a mist and every so often His face would form and He looked like Jesus. I forget where the video is, but I've never forgotten what she said. I've seen a mist before and I'm sure that was Him. I just didn't realize it until I saw her video. But, the Holy Spirit loves to show you Jesus not Himself so if you see Him, feel a little special.

The Holy Spirit will ALWAYS agree Jesus is Lord:

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them."
(1 John 4:1-5) (KJV)

So, if you believe the Holy Spirit has told you something, you can try the spirit as the Scripture says above. Basically say, "Do you confess Jesus is come in the flesh?" If the Spirit says, "yes", you know it is of God. Anything else, rebuke it and don't listen to it.

Some things Christians are not supposed to do: divination, walk on coals of fire (Pass through fire.... see https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=%22pass+through+the+fire%22&qs_version=KJV), astrology, read your horoscope (it's of the devil, folks), get your palm read, witchcraft, consult a spiritualist (basically, they are all witches). You probably shouldn't even celebrate Halloween. It is paganism.

The best thing you can do is read your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to show you everything. He loooooves to do that. In fact, the first book you should read as a new Christian is the Johns. That tells you all about Jesus and the love of Jesus.

Amen.

What have we done to the Earth? The Truth About Climate Change

Where do they get the "Mother Earth" stuff from?

I was listening to Kristene DiMarco's "It is well" and God snapped some thoughts into my head as I read this comment: "The rocks are literally crying out, in earthquakes they are crying out" by user JoAldrige.

The Holy Spirit made me remember "Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us." (Psalms 67:5-6) (KJV)

I guess the pagan's get "mother earth" from what the Holy Spirit impressed David, he didn't write all the Psalms but lets assume he wrote this one shall we, to call earth "her." So, earth is a her. The King James Version, the closest to the original Hebrew, says her. Just don't take it to the extreme as pagans do and worship her, the earth, as "Mother earth."

At any rate, the Scripture says for the earth to yield her increase, God has to be praised by people. Conversely, look at how sin is so prevalent today. Society is downright wicked.

How does wickedness affect the earth?

It affects it greatly. Just as praise can cause the earth to bloom and lead to a bigger harvest, sin leads to the opposite. I was listening to a preacher and she said as sin has increased the topsoil we use to grow our food has shrunk from feet of good topsoil to just inches. This has happened over a hundred years or so.

Check out this article on top soil. It says we could run out of topsoil in 60 years and "But thanks to conventional farming practices, nearly half of the most productive soil has disappeared in the world in the last 150 years, threatening crop yields and contributing to nutrient pollution, dead zones and erosion. In the US alone, soil on cropland is eroding 10 times faster than it can be replenished." https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/30/topsoil-farming-agriculture-food-toxic-america

Farming isn't the problem. Yes, fields need to rest and rejuvenate just like we need to do, BUT, the Bible says clearly when God is praised, the earth yield's her increase. Therefore, the real reason our top soil is disappearing is the collective sin of the world.

God has a solution...

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chron. 7:14)

Notice the last part—"heal their land." If people turn from sin and seek Him, God will heal the land. This makes our climate change accords absolutely worthless without turning to the creator who created the earth in the first place. Earth is a living thing and misuse, pollution hurts it, but what really hurts earth is sin.

God can control the weather as these Scriptures talk about: https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/bible-verses-about-rain/

Make God mad by violating his commandments, He'll withhold the rain, even stop the harvest.

The simple truth is: God can do anything.

Check out this one: "Therefore the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen. Yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute; you refuse to blush with shame." (Jeremiah 3:3)

Clearly, God withheld the rain because of sin.

The real truth of Climate Change, all the earthquakes, the volcanos, is sin. Jesus said we would see these things in the last days, but the reason we see them is sin is great, wickedness abounds.

"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." (Matthew 24:7) I talk about this here: https://www.transgenderchurch.com/2020/07/2020-beginning-of-sorrows.html

The reason we are having so many earthquakes in the last days is "the rocks are literally crying out, in earthquakes they are crying out" (user JoAldrige on YouTube).

Understand Climate Change yet?

The earth is sick from all the sin and she is crying out to God for relief!!!!!!!!!!!

But, yet, mankind thinks they can solve "Climate Change." Only if they turn to God and turn from their wicked ways will God heal the earth. Man can be a good steward, but he can't fix a thing without God.

The Power Inside You

The Power Inside You

The Title sounds like some New Age Mysticism, doesn't it? Well, it is not because the Power is not your power. It is the Holy Spirit that lives inside a Holy Ghost, Fire baptized Christian. Think about that. The Power of God rests inside you. God lives inside you. Jesus's Spirit, the Holy Spirit, rests inside you. The same Anointing Jesus got when he was baptized by John the Baptist rests inside you.

Jesus said we'd do greater works than Him. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (John 14:12) (KJV) Basically, if you believe on Jesus, greater works shall you do because Jesus takes your prayers to the Father. Not for your glory, but His Glory. God loves a willing vessel. He can do wonders through a willing vessel.

Honestly, none of us can perform miracles. We have our God-given talents, but even they are God-given. But, when you are a Christian and Baptized with the Holy Spirit, the power of Almighty God rests inside you waiting to do good works, greater works than Jesus did, through you.

The same power than burned the bush but did not consume it that Moses saw, the same power that gives the breath of life to all life, the same power that brought the rains to flood the earth in Noah's time, the same power that raised Lazarus from the dead, the same power that rose Christ from the dead and ascended Him into heaven, and the list goes on, lives inside you.

I think of the Holy Spirit as Jesus's Spirit. It's just easier to think of God that way. "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." (Genesis 1:2) (KJV) God is the father, Jesus is the Christ, and the Holy Spirit is the power. All three work together in perfect harmony and all are one, but the one is three. The Godhead seems complicated to fathom with our feeble human minds so I just see the Holy Ghost as Jesus's Spirit. As far as I'm aware, the Holy Spirit seems okay with me seeing Him that way.

Think about WHO lives inside you: The Holy Spirit. We know God is everywhere, is all knowing, all powerful. And, Satan and his ilk, are stuck being at one place at one time. So, therefore, Satan and his minions can't be all powerful, all knowing, or present everywhere like God is. Satan has power, but it is limited, and limited to where he is. God, on the other hand, has NO limits. God can read your mind, Satan can't. Jesus is in heaven interceding on our behalf, but yet He's right there in the same room you are. So is God the Father. But, the Holy Spirit actually lives inside all believers.

You are only limited by your knowledge of the Bible. Basically, what you've read and studied. And, of course, when Scripture pops into your head, you know that's the work of the Holy Spirit, right? He brings them to your remembrance. I actually think, but can't prove, our minds were designed with the Word of God in mind. In other words, Scripture has a natural place in our heads and our hearts.

In Hebrew 10:16-17, it says, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more." (KJV)

We supposed to keep His word close to us, etch them on our hearts. "My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart." (Proverbs 7:1-3) (KJV)

In the old testament, individuals had to write them on the tablet of their hearts, BUT, in the New Testament, God writes them on our hearts himself. Embrace the Word, and God will write it on your heart Himself. That's the Holy Spirit at work.

Even then, if we are only willing to get the fact the awesome power of God lives within us, we really can do anything if we let God do His work.

So, when you pray for someone, realize God is right there hearing your prayer, Jesus is taking it to the Father (John 14:12) and God is answering at the speed of thought.

Speed of thought: God does everything by the speed of thought. God is not limited to time, space travel, an airplane ride. He's literally everywhere. We can't even comprehend God's being. He's his own dimension while we live in the physical and angels, demons, fallen angels and Satan lives in the spiritual realm. God resides in all three. In some religions, God is seen as part of the universe. But, in Christianity, God created the universe and is separate from it, but is everywhere at the same time. If you were to travel to Mars, God would be there, with you on the ship and still back on earth. Only God can do that. Angels, as powerful as they are, are limited to being at one place at one time. Same with Satan and his idiot crew.

Anyway, think about WHO lives inside you when you pray (all wars are fought in prayer) and what He can accomplish through you. The battle is the Lord's, but prayer is our weapon along with our knowledge of God's Word.

And, Who is the Word? "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1) (KJV) Jesus is the Word. The Bible is your hand, or on your phone or on your computer, is Jesus in written form. That's why the Bible is alive, and Scriptures can pop off the page at you.

"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matt 4:4) (KJV) The Bible is that Word. Live by it. The more you know, the better you are.

2020: The Beginning of Sorrows

Watch the Above Video...

This passage of Scripture describes people as they are today...

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:1-5) (KJV)

Look how people post selfies and look for approval and have the need to go viral? Look how some are boasters of their abilities constantly, so proud of themselves. Look at how narcissistic (in love with self) the world has become. Look how Christians are murdered in some parts of the world and not tolerated in other parts. Anyone can see this in the world.

This passage of Scripture definitely is what is happening in the world...

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(Pestilences is diseases - think AIDS, Swine Flu, and now Covid-19)

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

(Matthew 24:3-13)

Be watchful. "The virgins are all trimming their wicks," (Matthew 25:1-13) Since Jesus returns in the Rapture for His Bride, we should all be as virgins all trimming their wicks, being watchful for "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28) (KJV)

If you are not a Christian, doesn't this all sound scary? It should sound scary to you. The Great Tribulation will usher in the One World Government and the Anti-Christ and the Judgement of God on the world. It will be a horrible time that we really can't even imagine even though Revelations tells us what happens.

YOU. DON'T. WANT. TO. BE. HERE!

Scripture Tips

Scripture Tip: When you see "Christ" think "God's Grace."

Example: I can do all things through "God's Grace" (Jesus Christ) which strengthen me. (Phil 4:13)

God's Grace, which is Jesus Christ) is unmerited favor. I was watching Joseph Prince and he said Christians fall when they rely on themselves (which makes them Live Under the Law). Never live under the Law, rely on Grace. Satan can't tempt you living under Grace, but Satan can tempt you when you live under the Law (Your own works). Living under the Law leads to Pride and "Pride cometh before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18) Remember Jesus's 2 commandments? Love God and Love thy neighbor. Both of those fulfill ALL the Law and the Prophets.

What is strengthen? Substitute healeth for "strengthen".

What heals? Jesus's stripes. Why? GOD'S GRACE!

Another Tip: Faith is accepting something not yet obtained. Moreover, faith is the conviction of something God promised to do.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (KJV)

Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. (ASV)

Jesus Christ is Hope, He is Grace, He is Healing. One of the gifts of the Spirit is Faith.

But...

A HUGE Tip:

When you ask God for something, ask God for wisdom, too.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." James 1:5 (NIV)

Basically, God loves to dole out wisdom. God hates ignorance. And, psst..., Satan can only operate in ignorance. What does Wisdom give you? FAITH!

The main reason Solomon got so much was that he asked for wisdom!

Ask God for wisdom in all things. Wisdom is how you learn to live under God's Grace fully in FAITH....and, if you are living under God's Grace, which is Christ..."it's is God's pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32)

A Tip on Healing: By His stripes, we were healed...

Even though your symptoms are still there, Jesus already made provision for your healing. You just have to accept it (Faith is accepting something not seen, but already done). Praise God for it. In all things, give God praise.

Hallelujah!

Does God Like Me?

Does God Like Me?

Ponder that for a moment. We always hear: God loves you, God loves everybody. But, I've known people that say, "I love you but don't like you." Ever hear that? Well, God loves you AND GOD LIKES YOU.

Need Proof?

I did.

You know how a mom will sit and look at her child for hours with loving eyes while she delights in her child? God does the same with you. Even moreso...

In fact, God even counts the hairs on your head.

"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Luke 12:7) (KJV)

Yes, it may sound like a little too much love, but God loves you so much he counts the hairs on your head.

God feeds the birds, but he values YOU way more than them.

"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" (Matt 6:26) (KJV)

He also promises to supply all your needs.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 4:19) (KJV)

The BIG, HUGE difference in God and everyone else is:

He likes you even when you fail. To err is human.

Why?

Jesus died and rose from the dead so that we might have communion again with God. But, Jesus knew we would fail because we are human (and He wasn't–He had a human body, but He was still God). Jesus never sinned, but he became all our sin on the Cross at Calvary.

But, why?

Grace.

Grace, which basically is there for us to get saved AND TO FAIL and not suffer the penalties for it. "His grace is sufficient." (2 Corinthians 12:9) If you screw up, and you will make mistakes because you are human, His Grace is Sufficient. God likes you that much he sent Jesus to die in your place so your sins would be forgiven even when you screw up.

Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.

Jesus was perfect and they beat him senseless then crucified him on the Cross because He was blameless. Even Pontius Pilate knew He was blameless. (John 18:28-38)

When God looks at a Christian, he doesn't see sin or anything bad. When He looks at us, He sees Jesus because we accepted Jesus into our hearts. He also sees the Holy Ghost inside us...and you know who He is? The Holy Spirit really is Jesus's Spirit.

I'm not saying Grace is a license to sin. I'm saying Grace is there because we are human and will make mistakes because we are human. It is impossible for us as humans to live above sin because of our endemic nature. I actually think, but can't prove it, but us just existing day to day is some little sin. Sin is in our nature. It's called the flesh (not your skin or body), but our endemic nature. However, when we get saved, guess what?, we are reborn inside. The flesh is there but subdued. The more we pray, "crucify the flesh" as Paul put it Galatians 5:24, the more subdued it becomes. The flesh is those little thoughts that pop into your head that questions God, exalts above God. The flesh is NOT you but our endemic nature. Prayer is crucifying the flesh and bringing it under submission.

Yeah, God likes you that much. But, His like is both personal and corporate. Jesus is our Husband and we are His Bride. The Church is His Bride. But, Jesus wants to know you intimately as His Bride. God wants to hear about your successes, your failures, your wants, your needs, your prayers for others, what you like, what you dislike, your favorite food, your favorite song, your favorite movie, everything! God's ear never tires of listening to you no matter what you are saying, even when you go on and on and on about nothing. Unlike another human, He's actively listening to you.

God loves listening to you tell Him everything about you. His ear is always open and He's always happy hear what you have to say even if you're mad. His that good a friend. He knows His ways are not our ways. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 55:8) (KJV)

God fashioned you in the womb of your mother. Yes, He did. It's why abortion is murder. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." (Psalms 139:13) (NIV) The Holy Spirit is the breath of life and one of His jobs is knitting us together in our mother's womb.

WHY WOULD GOD NOT LIKE YOU SINCE HE DOES ALL THAT TO MAKE YOU?!!!

Yes, God Likes You, Jesus Likes You and the Holy Spirit Likes You.

We know God loves us, but we also should know He likes us.

Jesus is the Love You've Dreamed About

Jesus is the Love You've Dreamed About

Jesus wants to be your spiritual husband. "For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called." (Isaiah 54:5) (KJV) And, "For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee." (Isaiah 62:5) (KJV) God rejoices over us. God delights in us. "He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17)

We are the Bride of Christ, which is mentioned a lot in the Bible. Realistically, the Bible is God's love affair with us. Many think Songs of Solomon is the model for marriage. Yes, that's true, but it is also our model for our marriage to Christ.

God always wants to be first! Jesus is supposed to be your first love. "We love because he first loved us." (I John 4:19) Without loving Jesus, you really don't love anyone else the way God intended. God loves you so much he counts the hairs on your head. (Luke 12:17) Jesus really is nuts about you.

But, Jesus wants to be our first love.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3) (KJV) And, of course, there are the first of two commandments of Jesus... "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." (Matt 22:37) (KJV)

You are supposed to love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind. Basically, God wants from us what He does for us. He probably doesn't get it from many Christians, but the few that ventures into actually doing it will reap something few Christians get. There is a fullness of God that he can let us experience and Jesus said he came so we might have life (salvation), and have life more abundantly. (John 10:10) Eternal life you get from salvation. But, abundant life you get from devotion to Jesus. You can never out love God.

But, God said David was a man after His own heart. (1 Sam 13:14; Acts 13:22)

You have to surrender your will to Jesus.

Honestly, I surrendered mine. I remember my devotion and acceptance at being celibate when I prayed something like this, "God, I give myself to you as and devote myself solely to you as your child, Jesus Christ as my husband and the Holy Spirit as my guide in Jesus's mighty name, Amen." The more I draw near to God, the more He'll draw near to me. "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you..." (James 4:8) (NKJV)

I always fought surrendering my will to Jesus. Honestly, I didn't know what that meant. I do wonder what He has in store for me. But, I doubt it is anything terrible. David risked his life a lot to do God's will. But, he was king of Israel and an actual warrior that shed a lot of blood.

About a year ago, God called me to the ministry with a really odd dream. I remember it well. I was in the military and we had these uniforms that was nothing like I had seen. But, I had a special uniform reserved only for me. I got the feeling other soldiers knew I was different. Not in awe of me, but they knew I carried a responsibility few did. I actually think I was the only one that did. Anyway, my job was to fly a plane, which I never saw, deep into enemy territory.

I had told God before I didn't want to pastor, but would be happy to be an Evangelist. I just never thought I'd be a good pastor but love telling others how things work–in this case, how to be a Christian, how to get saved, how to get healed, etc.

Paul actually said, maybe in his opinion, Christians should be single. "For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that." (I Cor. 7:7) (KJV) But, that's not realistic. God did make Adam and Eve and said men should not be alone (Genesis 2:18). Even Paul said you should get married if you "burn with passion" (1 Cor. 7:9), which basically means if you're constantly lusting after everyone that crosses your path, get hitched. A husband can lust after his wife all day long, and a wife can lust after her husband all day long. In fact, aren't they supposed to desire each other sexually?

A little tidbit about marriage: the Husband's contributions makes all the difference. A woman can give and give, but it won't matter that much to a man that isn't giving. But, if the man gives everything, it will make all the difference unless the woman is just plain evil and totally into herself. Guys, God even warns you about such women in Proverbs 7. The warning was about adultery and said, "Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death." God described her as "Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. (She is unruly and defiant, her feet never stay at home; now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.)" Such a woman leads a man to ruin. Think Delilah and Sampson. Be wary of the temptress. Her silken words and sinful manners can destroy any man. And, girls, don't be that woman. Guys, look for a virtuous woman, and, girls, be one.

Maybe that's one of the reasons Paul loved singleness.

Men have a harder time with Jesus as Husband than women do. But, there is nothing sexual about it. It basically means, Jesus is your all. He wants to be your everything. He wants to be first in your life. He wants you to fall in a deep love with Him. And, yeah, it does feel romantic. But, it gets even better because Jesus offers unconditional love and acceptance where another human being never can. It should be God, your spouse (if married), your kids, your job, etc. But, honestly, why I told God I'd be His was simple: I really want to see what God has in store for me. I just might get to see things few get to see and experience things few get to experience. Yes, it feels romantic, but it goes deeper. God really wants to satisfy all your needs.

But, Love is our main need.

If God is willing to give us our greatest need, Love, why wouldn't he satisfy all our needs? I believe he does.

Only God can give us Agape Love. That is the deepest love we can ever experience. Agape love is described as the love of God for man and the love of man for God. The depths of God's love really is beyond imagination. But, somehow, we can experience it if we only surrender our will to God, and love Him with all our heart, all our mind and all our soul as Jesus commanded. I definitely have felt temporal love for Jesus. However, temporal love with God will eventually go even deeper. For some, like me, it is the first step into a world I think few people get to go. Honestly, I'm married to Jesus. I made a vow to be celibate for Jesus.

And, you bet your bottom dollar, I want to experience Agape Love to the fullest extent possible. Jesus promised it. "I come that you have life, and have life more abundantly." (John 10:10 paraphrase). Life is salvation. Life more abundantly is that experience of Agape love that St. Theresa called ecstasy. I don't know what she experienced exactly, but I want it. She had the abundant life. To get that, you have to surrender you will, devote yourself, and make Jesus your one and only like she did. I will tell you the closer you get to God, the closer the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself to you. You can feel the tingling and heat of the Spirit from head to toe. There is nothing like the Anointing.

Agape love has changed me. I'm finding I love everybody more and more each day. I want it to get to the point the only thing I see in another person is their soul. Since God is Love, and to love others, God has to love through you, I believe eventually that will happen. My endemic nature might not like it, but I want it. I want to go after God's heart. I don't know what that really means, and I may not get there, but I want it.

Yes, I have my doubts. And, I have my moments of "what the heck am I doing?" But, such thoughts are fleeting. Emotions are fleeting. You can't live life by your emotions because "the heart is desperately wicked." (Jeremiah 17:9) The heart is desperately wicked because it is never satisfied. The heart flows with the wind and is directionless. You basically have to master it. Feelings are wonderful things, but they should never control your life. I think they should be a confirmation of what you think. The heart should be subject to your mind and will not the other way around. The mind and will is the adult and the heart (emotions) is your child. The heart can move you to do things, but you should think it through first.

And, remember this, "love (human) was not meant to last." Pat Benatar sang that line in Shadows of the Night and I've never forgotten it. She also sang "Love is a Battlefield" and we all know how true that is. A soul mate is an extremely rare thing. Even then, that love will fade and has to be constantly nurtured. Human love is a battlefield, as Pat sang. God's love isn't, period. He won't get the seven year itch, or cheat on you, or dump you. God is totally faithful. He'll never leave you nor forsake you. Even Jesus can't say that about God, because God had to turn his back on Him at the Cross. So, Jesus really did take everything for us. He had to become sin itself, which God can't hang with. God's, Jesus's love is never-ending while a human's love eventually has an expiration date. You might be totally in love with someone and a year later have moved on. God never moves on, His love never grows cold, His love never gets stale. God's love is for eternity. And, the way to get more of it is to give it away.

The Godhead really is beyond our comprehension. But, in the end, I have a strange feeling Jesus will be all in one. It's not in the Bible. It's just a strong feeling. God the father will be the soul of Christ, Jesus will be the body and the Holy Spirit will be Jesus's spirit. A little trick to know about the Holy Spirit: He only talks about Jesus. I remember a young teen girl said she saw the Holy Spirit, I have to, and He was a mist, and, every once and awhile His face would form and He looked just like Jesus. So, if you've see Jesus in a vision, you've seen God, too. We just can't comprehend how the Godhead works to understand what our eyes have seen.

C.S. Lewis said there were four loves: Agape, Eros (the sexual he called Venus), Philia (friend, siblings) and Storge (empathy or familiar like how a mom loves their child). Agape is charitable love, unmerited love and from God. But, I think C.S. Lewis had it wrong. All love is from God. At God's core, there is love. I honestly think the other three loves C.S. Lewis describes are really reflections of Agape. We are only capable of really loving anyone through God. Otherwise, we don't.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Four_Loves

Jesus's love for us was stated here as the greatest: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). What is the greatest love? Sacrifice. If you really love someone, you'll sacrifice for them. And, if you are a husband, you have to be willing to die for your Bride like Jesus, the Husband, did for the Church, His Bride. Jesus is the Husband both corporately (for the church) and individually for each of us.

That's why I devoted my life to God. I don't want a person every getting between me and Jesus. Paul was content there. I can be, too.

God can't leave you; He'll only get sweeter and sweeter!

If you are not a Christian, doesn't this all sound good?

On December 20,1991, I got saved (the second time) in bed with bronchitis. It was a beautiful experience. So, can you! It changed my life forever. The first time I got saved was when I was like 6 and raised my hand during an alter call. God answered, but my mom put my hand down. Nevertheless, God answered my faith then. No one followed up on me and I was 6 so really didn't understand it all.

Do You Need Healing?

I was watching Joseph Prince and his wife was telling how she was healed completely of what she had. I don't remember what it was but it was serious. This is what she did: she imagined Jesus on the Cross at Calvary and she imagined giving her ailment to Him as He hung there on the Cross. After she did this, for several weeks if I remember correctly, she was healed. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amazing trick, isn't it?

Here is the Scriptural basis for it.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

In that Scripture's case, people were healed by the promise of Jesus being crucified and raised from the dead. It hadn't happened yet, but they were being healed totally by something that hadn't happened yet.

Isn't that simply amazing?

It gets better.

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)

In the New Testament, after Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead, we were no longer healed by the promise of Jesus's sacrifice. In fact, ready for it?, we were healed! In Isaiah, they were healed in the present tense or "are." In 1 Peter, we were healed because of the past tense or "were."

In other words, Jesus already healed you on the Cross. You just need to claim/accept it!

Hallelujah!

No matter what you have, Jesus already paid for your healing. You just have to give it to Him by imagining Him taking it while He was on the Cross at Calvary just like Pastor Prince's wife did.

Therefore, any healing you need, from cancer to AIDS to a broken finger to even Herpes (Jesus took everything on the Cross) to drug addiction to depression to alcoholism, give it to Jesus on the Cross, let Him take it from you and be healed in the name of Jesus.

Amen.

Jesus Wants to Meet All Your Needs

Jesus Wants to Meet All Your Needs

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) When you think riches, think rich in things, rich in being, rich in faith, rich in wisdom, rich in humbleness, rich in meekness, etc., etc. Jesus is rich in everything. And, "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." (Psalms 37:4) (KJV) "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32) (KJV)

It's easy for someone somewhere to say that without telling you how. The why is easy: Jesus loves you that much He died for you. (John 3:16)

But, How?

I used this list of emotional needs: https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/9-emotional-needs-according-to-maslow-s-hierarchy

Security/Safety

Caring for you is sooo God. I really doubt how much we know cares for us and looks out for us. But, since God calls Himself your husband, and died for you, how much more will He do? Think about it: maybe you had a car wreck and thought, "well, God didn't protect me from the car wreck." What if the real truth was, the car wreck wasn't the worst thing that almost happened? What if it would've happened a few seconds sooner and you'd be dead, or left a quadriplegic or something? What if the wreck stopped you from an even bigger thing down the road? Hmmm...

My mom said she saw the Spirit of God move our car when I was kid so we didn't have a wreck on ice, or worse. I remember driving down highway 390 during a rainy day and a minivan pulled out in front of me and I swerved onto the shoulder, which was a slope into a ditch, and I made it safely to past the minivan and back onto the road. My mother said God told her to pray for me at that exact time, and I escaped a head-on collision. I could've been killed.

A cool one was on Saturday going to work, I knew my car was almost out of gas and I thought, I'll fill up after work. Went to work and totally forgot about getting gas. The next three days, I didn't even look at the gas gauge and drove to work and all over town one of those days—on empty. The tank was bone dry, and it still ran like normal. I had asked God to do something for me a few days or a week before, and He did. I saw it that Wednesday morning way below the empty mark and thought immediately, "God has to be making it run." There was no other explanation. I was a block from the gas station and feared stalling out before I got there. But, I didn't. I did laugh and say, "God, how about you keep this thing running and I never have to buy gas again." Laughing! See, God probably protects us from all kinds of evil and calamitous things we are never even aware of that could've happened to us.

God does protect you from Satan. I believe he assigns you two angels to watch over you. Then, of course, the Holy Spirit is the ultimate protector. Angels are awesome, but when the Holy Spirit resides in you, I doubt God is going to let much happen to you. Even if death is imminent, God might tell you, "it's time to go home" and give you total peace to handle your death. He did that for a man who was being stoned in the Bible. I forget the story but God gave him the power to withstand the stoning physically, emotionally and spiritually. God will be with you through life, death, good times, bad times, so-so times, okay times, ho-hum times, whatever life brings. He's the lover of your soul and with Him, all things are possible. (Matt 19:26)

Understanding/Attention

Since Jesus is the perfect husband, He totally gets you. The Bible says God never tires of listening to you. In fact, God wants a relationship with you more than anything, and values that above any work you could ever do for Him. What good would that relationship be if He didn't get you and understand you? Tell him your needs, your desires, your wants, your problems, your successes, your failures, everything.

Unlike another human, God always, always actively listens and pays attention to you. He will actively listen when you ramble on and He will always understand your pain and your joys. He already knows you are Transgender. He even knows the reason. Yes, He knows everything. If He didn't, He wouldn't be much of a God would He? Humans won't always listen to you, but God never tires of you talking to Him. He desires that kind of relationship more than anything. Jesus is the perfect husband no earthly human could ever be.

Emotional Connection

We are emotional beings, and, guess what, Jesus is an emotional being. In the Bible, it says he's been happy, joyful, angry (like the Hulk, you really don't want God angry), etc. God has emotions just like us–but He is in absolute control of his emotions. God wants love and emotional connection just like we do. Why else would God have made us in His image? The dude was lonely. And, God made a mistake doing it. The first people were like animals and God found it so sinful and perverse, he destroyed them and started over–and made Adam in His own image. He saw Adam was lonely and needed a helpmate so he fashioned Eve from his rib. Unlike the first go round with people, Adam was fully created in God's image: Adam had a house (body), a soul (mind, will and emotions) and a spirit.

I think of the Godhead in this way at times: Jesus is the body, God the father is the soul and the Holy Spirit is Jesus's spirit. It's not perfect, but, honestly, until we get to heaven, we will never fully understand how the Godhead works. We may simply be unable to imagine, or comprehend how the Godhead works. I wrote once, "God is the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit originating from one entity." But, make no mistake, unlike Satan and his ilk, God is everywhere, literally everywhere. He's all-knowing, all powerful, and omnipresent.

Anyway, when you accept Jesus as your savior, you join with God. He makes you a new creature in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit even seals you so when God looks at you, he doesn't see a sinful creature, but a new creature in his Son Jesus. He sees you as blameless because of Christ. Salvation is a constant–it's not this moment and few moments later–but constant. Say you are sinning when the Rapture happens–do you go if you are a Christian? Yep. God sees you as blameless because of the blood spilled from Jesus Christ as the cross.

So, when you get saved, you now have a connection to Jesus that no one can ever break. No one. Your bond with God is unbreakable, un-shatterable, forever, constant. If you further accept the Gift of the Holy Spirit (just thank God for the gift of the Holy Ghost), you are in full communion with God.

And, how does God see you?

A son, a daughter, a new creation.

But, there is more...

"And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." (Revelations 1:6) (KJV)

Jesus is the King of Kings and you are now a king. But, it gets better. You are a "priest unto God." Yeah, you are a minister unto God. Think about that. Angels aren't ministers unto God. Angels are awesome and have no sin, but, we, the sinner crowd, are ministers unto God in Christ Jesus. The world may see us as worthless in their eyes, but God sees you as a king and a minister unto Himself. You are invaluable to God. You want self-esteem and self-worth? There it is. You're a king, baby! Only Jesus Christ is more valuable to God and the Holy Ghost. I may be worthless in the eyes of all humanity, and have been told that many times, but I am invaluable to God. Salvation is so precious even the Angels are curious about it, and they can never have that experience since they are perfect and sinless.

Yeah, let that sink in.

Connection to Community

Jesus Christ is the Husband and the church is his Bride. When you think you are alone, God is with you, Jesus is with you and the Holy Spirit is with you. But, also there's an angel or two with you. Imagine you are sleeping and it seems like no one is around. Now, imagine God is there, Jesus is there, the Holy Spirit is there and an angel or two is there. That's how it always is with you. God is always with you, He will never leave you and He will never forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) You are connected to a community of believers, past and present, angels and God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You will always be in a majority. (1 Kings 18:19-22)

When Elijah went to the people, he thought he was alone. But, Elisha prayed and finally Elijah saw God as the Lord of Hosts. He saw him and God as a majority! (2 Kings 6:15-17) God was in full control of the situation and even though the ungodly surrounded Elijah, God and all his servants surrounded the ungodly. Just like Elijah, you are never alone. In your darkest moment, God is there as the Lord of Hosts. You will always be connected to His community.

I was watching Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at the end. Rey was alone, it seemed, and Palpatine and all the Sith were surrounding her. It seemed like the dark lord was in full control and Rey was all alone. Then, as the Sith crowd roared, she closed her eyes, quieted her mind and heard all the Jedi of the past tell her they were with her. This little girl, just like little David before he slew Goliath, rose up, grabbed her light saber and stood defiant before the Sith God just like David stood before Goliath. Palpatine unleashed the full power of the Sith against Rey with lightning toward her light saber and said she was nothing compared to him and said, "I am all the Sith." She was just a scavenger, a nothing, and had no power to stand against him as the Sith God. And, another light saber flew into her hand, and she said, "And, I am all the Jedi." And, she slew the Sith Lord.

Likewise, David picked up a stone, put it in his sling and threw the stone at Goliath. David's aim was true and the stone hit Goliath in the head and killed him. In that story, David was Jesus, the stone was the Sword of the Spirit and Goliath was Satan. Just like Palpatine was no match for the Jedi in Rey, Goliath was no match for the power of God in David. Satan has power, but he is a weakling, a nothing, compared to Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead, Satan and sin and everything bad was defeated by God. That's why the war is always Jesus's the fight and not yours because Jesus already won. You are every bit a part of God's Kingdom, which has no end, as any other Christian.

Privacy

God wants time with you, but He won't invade your personal space. He respects your as a person, loves you as His own. Jesus is freedom from all oppression, not bondage again to fear. (Romans 8:15) God wants you to be a conqueror in Him. He wants you to be individual person not a clone, or a minion, or something else not you. He wants you to be you.

A Sense of Self

For decades, I didn't have a sense of self. Finally, He gave me a complete sense of self. God sees the inside, God sees your soul, God sees who you truly are. If you don't have a sense of self, he wants you to have one. As for me, I have Jewish blood (on my mom's side), I am a Christian and I am a king and priest unto God. What He did for me, He'll do for you.

A Sense of Achievement

I was watching a preacher and he said, "God wants you to follow your dreams." If you let Jesus, I guarantee you He will give you ways, open doors, to fulfill your dreams. You will achieve much through Him. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) (NKJV)

Meaning

The inevitable question: why? Why do we exist? What is the meaning of life? The answer is in Christianity. God created you because he was lonely and wanted a relationship with you. God wants you to serve Him and serve others. The Christian Life is really simple. Jesus offers you salvation, eternity with Him in paradise and lots of benefits while here on earth. Realistically, you can stay a baby in Christ, get some benefits and get heaven, or you can serve Jesus, have a deep relationship you'll never be able to have with another human like you can with Jesus and the Holy Spirit will show you things that boggle the mind.

Honestly, how much God has accepted me as part of his kingdom has boggled my mind. Weights lifted off my shoulders and I was free. I really don't care what mankind thinks, only what Jesus thinks. If He's cool with me, I really shouldn't worry about much at all.

See The Christian Life post for more on how easy it is to live the life. Jesus doesn't want to add burdens, He wants to take them away.

The great thing?

God can use anyone, but the ones He uses most are the humble. God doesn't care if you are poor, uneducated, a social misfit, Transgender, or a banker on Wall Street. If you are willing to let the Holy Spirit guide your life, God will take you places you'd never get to see without Him. I promise you.

I asked Him about being a minister and He really didn't answer it yes or no. I saw the website I wanted (this one), bought it and asked God for wisdom to do it right. I just let the Holy Spirit guide me, I hope faithfully, and write sermons that can help people. I'm like, hey, God, use me. I know it will not be easy, if and when he opens a door to a ministry offline, it will be difficult, but I honestly think God really wants to reach out to everyone regardless of circumstances. I'm sure he already does so, but, I think God likes it when we think BIG. He thinks BIG.

If you are not a Christian, doesn't this all sound good?

How to Live as a Christian

How to Live as a Christian

Pillar One

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and they house." (Acts 16:31) That's salvation. No one can steal it from you and it really obligates you to not do anything. Repent and it's the gift from God through his son Jesus. You can't earn it. After that, the Holy Spirit Baptism is a gift. Just thank God for him and he'll appear. And, when you repent in the future (do it daily), God renews your mind. If you want to find out renewing the mind works, don't repent for any reason for two weeks. Sin will build up and drive you nuts. But, repent, and your mind is renewed by the Holy Spirit. It really is that simple. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." (Romans 12:2)

Pillar Two

God's Grace is Sufficient. "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (2 Corinthians 12:9) Yep, if you sin, His grace is sufficient. I told God 2 years ago, "I ain't worrying about sin anymore. I'm not beating myself up over it, not controlling my thoughts, anything. Don't like it, God, kick me out. I don't give a f*ck." He's still around. Oh, just admit you're a hypocrite, because we all are. You can never live above sin. That's why God's grace is sufficient.

Pillar Three

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) Jesus promised you peace. Enjoy it. It's peace amid the storms, peace amid the calm (some people love drama–but you can have peace without it), peace, peace, peace. You can have peace in poverty, in wealth, in middle class, wherever you are. If you are a Christian and don't have peace, might want to look at #2 and #4, but I'll bet 2 is your problem. Money does not give you happiness or peace.

Pillar Four

"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:37-41) Follow Jesus's two commandments. If you do that, you'll fulfill all the law and all the commandments.

Pillar Five

"And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." (Galatians 5:24) Tell God everything in prayer, even if you are pissed at him. Tell him anyway. Let him have it. Do your worst. His ear is never tired. And, when done, listen for 10 minutes. Just listen. Ideas will pop into your head. That's the Holy Spirit chatting with you. God does not bring fear upon you, that's the devil. The flesh isn't your body. The flesh exalts itself over God. It is a thought that pops into your head that exalts you over God or says you don't need Him. The flesh also thinks Godly things are ridiculous. Don't listen to it or give it any space. Ignore such thoughts. Prayer is the thing that crucifies the flesh. Prayer is your weapon.

That's it.

Nothing else is needed, required or even worth thinking about.

Satan loves to tell new Christians they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and committed the unforgivable sin. Ever worry about that? Stop. Simple thing--if you have the fear you did comitt it, guess what? You didn't. Anyway, it is extremely hard to commit. You have to get to the place of Esau when he found "no place of repentance." In other words, it is a place that you get to when you don't repent, or are simply incapable of doing so. You can use the Holy Spirit as a curse word (and some do), you can think bad things about him, etc. None of that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It bothered me for years and even caused a nervous breakdown. It recently bothered me again, so I said, okay, what exactly is it. I learned some of what it really is from an ex-Satanist who said everything against the Holy Spirit you can imagine, he got saved and made it his mission to inform people what the unforgivable sin really is. It is basically you getting to a place of such a hardened heart, that you can't repent, which is very hard to get to. No Christian is going to consciously do that, and, honestly, few people get to that point Esau did. How about this? The Apostle Paul had Christians killed and called himself the chief of all sinners, and, glory to God, he wasn't beyond redemption, or repentance. God's mercy is so vast there is a literal river of Jesus's blood in heaven that covers all sins if one is ready to repent.

Yes, you can have a tattoo. Yes, you can listen to rock music. Yes, you can have a drink or two (Jesus said all things in moderation). No, you can't have an affair. LOL I don't even think he cares if you smoke weed here and there. He made it, after all. LOL

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)

Grace is Something Only Jesus Offers

Grace is Something Only Jesus Offers

Pillar Two of How to Live the Christian Life is all about Grace.

https://www.transgenderchurch.com/2020/04/how-to-live-christian-life.html

Grace is a gift of Jesus and we are in the dispensation of Grace. We are all hypocrites. God wants you to try to live holy, but you are human and will make mistakes. Repent and move on. No need to beat yourself up over it. God knows you are human. Grace is a better way.

But, there is more about Jesus and Grace. In the Stress Cure, Jamey Hammond talked about the powerful Scripture. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matt 11:28-30) (KJV)

Jesus promises you rest. Every have a great night's sleep and feel on top of the world the next morning? Jesus promises that in every aspect of your life. Rest. He also means rest from the burden of sin, but also means rest from the burden of life. Ooo, sound good?

Jamey explained the "yoke" is not the egg, but the collar farm animals wore when plowing the fields. Jesus said, "His yoke is easy." In other words, as Jamey said, "I am not here to add to your burdens." Jesus made salvation easy. Believe in Him and accept Him into your heart and you're saved. It is that simple.

In fact, I'll add further, Jesus is here to lighten your burdens, and, once you are His, He takes care of you: The Bible says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) (KJV) In you are God's, He said He'd take care of you. Count on it. What are the burdens holding you down? I remember hearing this: sin is a burden and fear is its result. When Jesus takes away your sins, he also takes away your fear. "Fear Not" is said by God many times in the Bible. God never wants you living in fear. All you have to do is accept it. Let God worry about it. Live one day at a time and let God worry about the rest.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7) (KJV) God wants you to have power, fear not, love others and be of sound mind. Salvation means you are saved, Grace means you no longer worry about sin (I"m not saying go forth a sinning...LOL), and God takes away the fear, gives you power, gives you love so you can love others and gives you a sound mind. God even says so, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8:15) (KJV) When God saves you, you are taken as His (adoption) and He clearly says, "not in bondage to fear." Jesus came to set the captives free, not enslave you again.

When you repent, you are renewing your mind. (Romans 12:12) (KJV) Yeah, it's that simple. And, when you pray, you crucify the flesh. Galatians 5:24 says, "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” (KJV) The flesh exalts you and exalts itself above God. The flesh are those thought opposed to God. That's the flesh. Prayer puts the flesh into submission. It is why Paul said to pray daily. 1 Thessalonians even says, "Pray without ceasing." (KJV) The more you pray, the more the Holy Spirit brings the flesh into submission. The flesh is our endemic nature. I remember reading a comic one time and it said, "I fight against my greatest enemy: myself." Honestly, aren't we always our own worst enemy? The flesh doesn't like how easy all of this Jesus makes it. But, it all is that easy.

Jesus was crucified, the only blameless man to walk the earth, and rose from the dead to take away the sins of everyone. "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (1 John 1:29) (KJV)

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:10-11) (KJV)

Jesus not only doesn't want to add to your burdens, and take away the ones you have, but he also wants you live more abundantly. Remember Pillar 3 in How to Live the Christian Life?: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Jesus alone gives you peace. Nothing the world has to offer will ever give you peace.

If you are not a Christian, doesn't this all sound good?

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.

A Prayer for God's Protection from Evil

A Prayer for God's Protection from Evil

He who dwells in the secret place of Elyon (Most High), shall abide under the shadow of Shaddai (God Almighty). I will say of Yahweh (Covenant Keeping God), "He is my refuge and my fortress; my Elohim (God of Power, Creator), in Him will I trust."

The prayer was written by Pastor Jim Hammond of Living Word Christian Center.

Something Big is Coming

I get the feeling something very big is about to happen in America. I'm not sure what it is, but...

I remember early this year, before Corona shut down many states, it seemed like everything was going great. Economy was roaring.... But, God brought this to my mind:

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (I Thess. 5:3)

In the last few weeks, there are rioting all over our cities in America and they are spilling over in Europe.

Today, I feel the spirit of Antichrist is roving through our country. I felt that spirit this morning. I resisted it, but felt it.

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

We Christians don't have to worry about the spirit of Antichrist...

But, I think these riots happening are going to go on and on...

Strangely, though, I just get this unsettling feeling something really big is about to happen in our world. I don't know what it is, but something big is coming. Couldn't get it out my mind as I laid down to sleep tonight so I had to write this.

God is really trying to reach the lost lately like never before in history.

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Rev. 3:20)

This passage of Scripture definitely is coming into vogue...

(Matthew 24:8-13)

Be watchful. "The virgins are all trimming their wicks," (Matthew 25:1-13)

God Considers YOU Extremely Valuable

Everyone knows God loves them. But, do you ever ask the question: Does God like Me?

Do you?

You should.

God loves everyone. Ever heard the saying, "I love you but don't like you." Well, God loves and likes you.

He says so.

"He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me." (Psalms 18:16-19) (NIV)

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)
