God's Love is Immeasurable

God's Love is Immeasurable

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)

How much does God love you?

According to John 3:16, God's love is immeasurable. If God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, all equal parts of the Godhead, got together and agreed to make Jesus the ultimate sacrifice for all our sins, God's love is immeasurable. He sacrificed Himself for you. Jesus became sin on the cross, which removes all guilt and shame. Yeah, He not only removes guilt, Jesus removes all the shame of your guilt. Satan will try and use your past sins against you, but, as Pastor Jimmy Evans said, "Jesus became the perfect scapegoat." Jesus not only took our sin, He took our guilt and our shame. Being crucified back then was considered the most shameful way to die. See, Jesus took our shame.

God forgives you if you ask....and He forgets the sin. "... Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." (Romans 4:7) (KJV) God forgets. He doesn't remember your sins after you repent. As a Christian, our sins are not only forgiven, but forgotten by God.

You see, when God looks at you, all He sees is the sacrifice of Jesus if you are a Christian. Jesus made you blameless before God, so the relationship Adam and Eve lost when they sinned has been restored.

So, if God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were willing to let Jesus take the fall for ALL sin, how much more love can you possible need or want or desire? "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) (KJV) So, Jesus loves you totally.

In fact, the Song of Solomon really is Jesus's love letter to the Bride of Christ, we Christians, both personally and corporately. Jesus is our Husband. (Isaiah 54:5) And, God's Love is constant. Jimmy Evans made this point: You know how a person says, "I love you but don't like you right now"? God loves and likes you always. His love is never up and down or sideways. It is always constant. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

Yeah, God likes you. He's the Perfect Father. Jesus is the Perfect Husband. And, the Holy Spirit is the Perfect Comforter.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32) (KJV)

God loves you so much, as Jimmy Evans said, that he wants to bless you more than you want to be blessed. In fact, it is God the Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom. And, one day, when we get to heaven, we will get that actual kingdom for all eternity.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) (KJV)

Jesus wants us to have peace beyond human understanding. If you don't feel you have it, ask for it and God will give it to you. Remember, you have no guilt, no sin and no shame. As always, fear not. If you need wisdom to understand, ask God for wisdom since He gives it to you liberally and without fault. He'll never find fault with you for asking for wisdom. (James 3:17)

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)

There is no greater love than Jesus.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) (KJV)

Accept Him today if you don't know him.

Sinner's Prayer

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior."

Now, go and tell someone and welcome to His Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit Baptism is a gift. Just pray, "God, I accept the Holy Spirit as a gift and welcome Him into my being. Thank and praise you Jesus for the Holy Spirit."

Amen and Hallelujah.
